Ways with Constable Green

Living Room, Dining Room, Interiors

In the blink of an eye, the long, hot summer has given way to misty mornings and the crunch of fallen leaves under foot.

Autumn is upon us, and with cooler days and the softness of the waning sun comes the simple pleasures of the season - rosy apples ripening on orchard boughs, hedgerow berries foraged for warming tipples and logs stacked, ready for chilly winter nights.

Neptune's new-season shade is Constable Green - a deep, inky colour that embraces darker mornings and cosy nights in front of the fire.

Rich, verdant and undeniably soothing, developed from the earthy pigments extracted from trees and plants, it embodies all that is the English countryside.

The depth of this new-season palette gently flows from cool and crisp to rich and intense, a soothing segue from summer to autumn.

Constable Green creates a portrait of the British landscape in any home.

We've put together three palettes that work with the new-season colour.

Arundel Dining Table

Constable Green, Cactus, Sage and Grouse

These colours originate from the natural world - all of them deep and impactful.

Paired with Cactus, a lighter and cooler green, and fabrics like Hugo linen in Sage and Isla velvet in Grouse - a charcoal grey - the palette brings depth to a scheme.

Using highlights of Mustard, an ochre shade with olive undertones, and Snow, a fresh white, is a fresh contrast.

Constable Green can also be used as a base colour - used on the ceiling and half-way down the walls will create an inviting, warm, grounded and intimate space.

Long Island Corner Sofa

Constable Green, Salt and Saffron

The deep pigments of Constable Green create a classical, cosseting looking which works beautifully with natural wood tones.

Pairing it with creamy, off-white Salt creates a sense of gentle and reassuring warmth. Pops of bright, brilliant saffron are stunning in a kitchen scheme.

Shoreditch bar stool

Constable Green, Paprika and Apricot

The richness and warmth of this traditional palette creates an ultra-cosy, welcoming environment in your home.

Pleasingly traditional, try using Constable Green from head to tow on the walls, and introduce upholstery and natural fabrics in russet and apricot tones for the perfect balance of natural warmth and texture.

George Sofa

We offer many different accessories that would look fantastic in any room styled with Constable Green.
