Outdoor wicker furniture is woven from various branded synthetic fibres that are coloured to look like natural rattan, or one of many other attractive neutral shades from black to white. The finished weave is soft to touch, supple, tear resistant, colour-fast, and weather resistant. It is not affected by differences in temperature and is extremely hard-wearing.

All the furniture of this type that we sell at Holloways is woven onto aluminium frames. Aluminium cannot rust and therefore will not be affected by damp, or wet, weather conditions.

The only maintenance requirement is cleaning, once or twice a year. Use a non-foaming cleaning product - we can supply one - or a solution of warm water and mild soap, with a soft brush. With this care your furniture should look as good as new for many years. (Your furniture will stay cleaner if you store it inside in winter.)
