Lloyd Loom Dining:

In 1908 Marshall Burns Lloyd invented a loom that could weave twisted kraft paper into a woven fabric, reinforced with steel wire. This woven fabric was used on cane, or bent wood frames, to make extremely durable furniture. Lloyd Loom furniture became very popular and could be seen on ocean liners, in hotels and tea rooms, and graced the Royal boxes at Wimbledon and Henley. It remains universally popular today and is the ideal choice for the conservatory as it is not affected by heat, or bright sunlight. Our Lloyd Loom furniture is the original Lusty Lloyd Loom made to authentic designs. The furniture is hand finished and can be left natural, or stained one of a selection of charming traditional colours. The seat cushions can be covered in any fabric of your choice and feather scatter cushions can be supplied for added comfort. Tea tables and dining tables can be round, square or rectangular, with or without glass tops and can be made to any size.
